1. What is the Costco Member Limited-Time Savings event?
Costco Auto Program and GM Canada have created an exclusive offer to attract Costco Members to your dealership. The value provided during this event is designed to help increase sales and grow your client base.
Eligible Costco members can receive exclusive savings on select vehicles from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac:
- $1,200 Executive Member Bonus*
- $1,000 Non-Executive Member Bonus*
- Plus, manufacturer incentives for which Members may qualify
2. Who is eligible for the Costco Member Limited-Time Savings event?
Offer is only available to Costco Members that: (1) are residents of Canada; (2) hold a valid driver’s license; and (3) have been a Costco Member since March 2, 2026.

5. If a Costco Member purchased or leased a new vehicle prior to the start date of March 3, 2026, are they still eligible for the incentive?
No. Members must purchase or lease an eligible vehicle and take delivery during the incentive dates of March 3 to April 30, 2026.
6. Is my dealership required to participate?
No. Participation is voluntary and the assigned decision maker for the dealership may opt out from participating.
7. What personnel support do I need to provide for the Costco Member Limited-Time Savings event?
Please designate your top sales personnel to assist Costco Members during the event.
8. How will Costco Auto Program handle dealer referrals?
This Costco Member Limited-Time Savings event does not feature a structured price model such as preferred pricing. Dealers will not receive Costco Member referrals, but Members can visit any participating dealership to redeem their bonus on their purchase or lease of an eligible vehicle.
Pricing
1. What price does the Costco Member pay for the vehicle?
Members receive the $1,200 Executive Member or $1,000 Gold Star/Business Member incentive amount as outlined in HOL 2026-580 and 2026-579, plus manufacturer incentives for which they may qualify.
Costco Member Event Registration
1. How do Costco Members receive their Authorization Number?
Members must contact Costco Auto Program at 1-877-500-1470 or visit CostcoAuto.ca to register. A Promotions Specialist will provide Members an Authorization Number used by General Motors to verify eligibility. If an unregistered Member visits your dealership, click here to complete the registration form.
2. Where do I put the Authorization Number when reporting the vehicle sold?
Dealers must report the vehicle sold at the time of delivery. The Authorization Number needs to be input into the Certificate Field in OWB when reporting the vehicle sold.
3. Where can I find information for processing sales during this event?

2. Are Scotiabank GM Visa Card incentives stackable?
Yes, GM Card incentives are stackable with the special GM Canada incentive for eligible Costco Members during the incentive period. Please refer to program HOL 2026-580 and 2026-579 for complete incentive program details.
3. Who should I contact concerning specific questions about incentive compatibility during this incentive?

Incentive Marketing
1. Are there onsite activation opportunities at the local Costco warehouse?
Costco Auto Program may contact dealerships directly to solicit assistance in providing qualifying display vehicles at Costco warehouse locations. To take advantage of such a display opportunity, the dealer will enter into a separate agreement with Costco Auto Program relating to the vehicle display. GM Canada is not a party to that agreement and has no involvement in scheduling or administering display vehicle information. Do not contact warehouses directly; call Costco Auto Program at 1-800-816-3371.
2. Can I use the Costco logo or other names/marks in my dealer advertising?
Costco Auto Program and GM Canada have created a series of pre-approved assets, located in GM Asset Central and distributed via your monthly RMBA newsletter, for dealerships to use during the event. These materials include the Costco Wholesale trademark. Follow a template so that you can easily add your dealership logo and information. If your team has a creative idea in marketing the incentive, please send your concept to AutoProgram@CostcoAuto.com for approval. All marketing for this event must either be based on a pre-approved asset or have written permission from Costco Auto Program. Unauthorized use of the Costco Auto Program name or logo is prohibited.
3. What marketing and advertising will Costco Auto Program do to support the incentive?
Costco Auto Program will administer various marketing campaigns to support the incentive. This includes print, in-store promotional materials, direct mail, and email campaigns along with digital support on Costco.ca and CostcoAuto.ca, public/media relations, and social media.
